How Does It Work?.
HEVEL SUPER EXPORT®
HEVEL Super Export vacuum bags have been renowned worldwide for their top quality, excellent storage properties, good clarity and ease of use.
HEVEL vacuum bags are co-extruded, in accordance with the latest technologies. Therefore, HEVEL bags have more stretch than laminated 3-sealed bags. This means that HEVEL bags are stronger, and cannot de-laminate (separation of the layers).
HEVEL vacuum bags are co-extruded, in accordance with the latest technologies. Therefore, HEVEL bags have more stretch than laminated 3-sealed bags. This means that HEVEL bags are stronger, and cannot de-laminate (separation of the layers).
- By using a top quality Polyethylene combined with Surlyn or EVA, HEVEL bags can be sealed very well, even when the bags are greasy or wet.
- The raw materials used are of high constant quality, so differences among end users will not occur. The recipe is classified, and is controlled very closely for discrepancies.
- The Super Export bags have standard a thick layer of the best quality Polyamide (nylon) as a gas barrier. The air is better kept out of the bag, and for a longer period of time. The less the air, the longer the shelf life of the packed product.
- Through these top quality films, HEVEL bags can save up to 6% as profit for fresh beef is owed to the complete return of the red colour of the beef after unpacking. Other bags give some parts of a brown colour, which have to be cut off by the customer. Less loss of weight and less juice in the bags also contribute to the saving of costs.
- After one week, some other bags give a sour smell in the bag after re-opening. This smell is passed on to the product.
- All HEVEL bags are easy to open for fast product loading. The bags do not stick together, and are not powdered.
- HEVEL bags have (as far as known the only bags in the world) an aseptic (sterile) interior, because of the use of an absolute filter. The manufacturing process is monitored independently by Eurofins, a very reputable Food Lab in the world employing 32,000 scientists in 139 countries. The sole standard co-extrusion progress does not give a sterile interior, although this is often claimed.
- As the vacuum system is based on forcing back bacteria, the interior of the bag is of the utmost importance. (NOTE: BACTERIA NEVER GO INTO AN EMPTY VACUUM BAG)
- Of course the packed products have their own bacteria, but the lesser bacteria at the start, the better.
- In comparison with other bags, HEVEL bags mostly have an approximately 6-day longer shelf life.
- Fresh beef can be stored up to 6 weeks.
- All HEVEL bags are microwaveable and colouring and printing are possible.
- HEVEL PA/PE bags do not contain PVC, PVDC or softener, and are not x-ray treated.
- HEVEL is ISO 22000 CERTIFIED BY Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Ltd.
